Participants of BIP 2026 are responsible for arranging their own accommodation during their stay in Reggio Emilia.

Recommended Areas to Stay
For convenience, we recommend choosing accommodation close to the city centre or near the university venue.
Main programme activities will take place at the campus of University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in the Parco Innovazione area.
The following areas are generally convenient for participants.
City Centre (Centro Storico)
Good option if you prefer:
- walking access to restaurants and cafés
- lively evening atmosphere
- easy access to public transport
Travel time to the venue:
10–15 minutes by bus or taxi.
Near Reggio Emilia train station
Useful if you plan to travel by train or arrive late.
Advantages:
- easy transport connections
- several hotels within walking distance
- direct bus connections to the university area
Travel time to venue:
10–15 minutes.
Parco Innovazione / University Area
Closest option to the programme venue.
Advantages:
- walking distance to the campus
- quieter area
- modern accommodation options nearby

How to Reach Reggio Emilia City Centre and the Reggiane Area from Hotel Airone
From Hotel Airone, Reggio Emilia city centre (Piazza San Prospero) can be reached on foot in about 30–40 minutes. Alternatively, guests can take bus number 10 and then walk for about 10 minutes to reach the historic centre, or use an electric bike available in the city.
From Hotel Airone, the Reggiane area can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot or in approximately 5 minutes by electric bike.
How to Reach Reggio Emilia City Centre and the Reggiane Area from Park Hotel
From Park Hotel, Reggio Emilia city centre (Piazza San Prospero) can be reached by taking bus number 05, which takes about 15 minutes, followed by approximately 10 minutes on foot to reach the historic centre. Alternatively, the city centre can be reached in about 15 minutes by electric bike.
From Park Hotel, the Reggiane area can also be reached by taking bus number 05, which takes about 20 minutes, followed by a short walk. It is also possible to reach the area in about 15 minutes by electric bike.
