This area is part of the Parco Innovazione district — a regenerated industrial space that now hosts university buildings, research labs, and innovation hubs.

HOW TO GET HERE
By Air
Nearest airports:
- Bologna Airport (BLQ) – most convenient option
- Milan Linate or Milan Malpensa – alternative options
From Bologna Airport (Recommended Route)
- Take the Marconi Express to Bologna Centrale train station
- Take a train to Reggio Emilia
Train duration: approx. 45 minutes.
Trains run frequently throughout the day.
By Train
There are two stations:
- Reggio Emilia AV Mediopadana (high-speed trains)
- Reggio Emilia Centrale (regional trains)
Both are well connected to the city centre.
Bus tickets can be purchased at tobacco shops (“Tabacchi”) or via mobile app.
By Car
Reggio Emilia is on the A1 motorway (Milano–Bologna).
Parking info will be shared before arrival.
MOVING AROUND THE CITY
Good news: you won’t need a car.
- Most places are walkable
- City buses run regularly (Bus tickets can be purchased at tobacco shops (“Tabacchi”) or via mobile app)
- Bike-sharing is available
- Taxis are easy to find
We strongly encourage sustainable mobility 🌱 — walk, bike, or use public transport whenever possible.
Most festival activities will not require long travel distances.
